Cocopai RC&D Verde Valley Trails Partnership: Action Team Happenings, Records, Minutes, Etc. Link to Agendas for Verde Valley Trails Action Team Meetings Cocopai RC&D has included the Verde Valley Trails Action Team in its annual plan and continues to partner on a Master Trails Plan for the Verde Valley. There are many different trails groups within the Verde Valley. The various groups expressed interest in meeting quarterly to discuss where they were with their trails projects. The group is now collaborating with the USDA Coconino and Prescott National Forests, Arizona State Parks, the National Parks Service, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, Coconino and Yavapai Counties, Dead Horse Trails Coalition, Red Rock Pathways, Trans Verde Trails Coalition, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Clarkdale, Verde Valley Cyclists Coalition, Verde Valley Horsemen's Council, and other interested trails groups, working toward the creation of a Verde Valley Master Trails Plan. Mission MISSION STATEMENT FOR THE COCOPAI RC&D TEAM - VERDE VALLEY ARIZONA: The mission of Cocopai RC&D Team is to document, design, create and implement a comprehensive Trails Master Plan for the Verde Valley community. This plan will describe all existing trail areas in the Verde Valley and examine future recreational needs and opportunities in Coconino and Yavapai counties. The purpose of the TMP is to interconnect and build trails so that people in these communities can enjoy a recreational system of trails for multi-use, while preserving the environment and surrounding beauty.
